However once a holiday has been paid for we will guarantee the price, unless it is subsequently affected by the Government action or other influence beyond the control of Maldive Safaris RESERVATIONS A deposit of 20% of the tour cost is required on the booking and the balance not later then 35 days before the tour begins. Not withstanding any prior confirmation arrangements, the right is reserved not to execute tour if the payments have not been received in accordance with the foregoing. CANCELLATIONS In the event for cancellations, notice of which should be given in writing, the deposit may be refunded minus the charges for reservations that have been processed, cancellation fee in posed by the hotels/lodges and transporters and any other relevant expenses .If a cancellation received within 25 days of the commencement of the tour, a cancellation fee of 50 % of the total land arrangements will be charged and a charge of 100% If cancellation is made within 7 days of commencement We recommend that you get full trip cancellation insurance. RATES Rates include all the expense in connection with the vehicle and driver/guide for the itinerary as set out, hotel accommodation with full board table d'hote meals whilst on safaris (arrangements are on fallboard basis while on safari unless other wise stated) all government hotel taxes, hotel services charges and game drives as applicable to the itinerary and all the entry fee except where these are specifically quoted separately in the price list are included. Not included are any departure taxes, visas, gratuities (other then service charges), beverages, laundry and such other personal expenses. All rates are based on standard rooms or tents unless specified. Triples and singles are not guaranteed. Special room types carry extra supplements. ACCOMMODATION Wherever possible, we book rooms with private baths throughout on basis of two person sharing the room. Single rooms or rooms with private bath cannot be guaranteed. Single rooms are scarce and cannot be guaranteed. English specking driver guides are provided ALTERATION TO TOURS The right is reserved to change any route or arrangement should the conditions necessitate to offer substitutes of equal value or to cancel the operation of any scheduled tour. Tanzania has been home, haven, and stopover to countless people of many different origins. Her history has been influenced by a procession of people from the original Bantu settlers from South and West Africa to the Arabs from Shiraz in Persia and the Oman, from the Portuguese to the Germans and the British. Tanzania was still known as Tanganyika when she achieved her independence in 1961. When Zanzibar became independent in 1964, the two countries united as the United Republic of Tanganyika and Zanzibar. In late 1964 they renamed their country the United Republic of Tanzania. Tanzania offers some of the greatest wildlife viewing on earth amidst a dramatic setting of snowy peaks, volcanic craters and the Maasai steppe of endless plains. Unfenced and untamed, the animals roam free across the vast grasslands, and hordes of wildebeest and Zebra migrate annually followed by a host of predators. Few countries in the world can compare to Tanzania in natural beauty and cultural diversity. Tanzania offers an incredible array of wildlife and unique cultures in a spectacular setting. The Northern safari circuit, which is the most popular area for first time visitors, includes: The snow capped Mt. Over 1040 species of birds have been sighted in Tanzania. The Tanzanian climate is tropical. The central plateau is dry and arid with hot days and cool nights, while the north-west highlands are cool and temperate. June to September is the cooler season. The long rains are from March to May and the short rains are between October and December. The hottest months are between October and February. On the coast it rains in November and December and from March to May. Coastal areas are hot throughout the year.
